Trust Doctor in General Medicine (ST3+)

ST3+

Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Doctor (LAS) in Medicine to join our dynamic clinical team at Royal Surrey County Hospital for a 4 month fixed term post. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality care to patients across Guildford Ward.

Guildford Ward comprises 20 isolation beds that were previously used as an isolation space for COVID patients. There is a dedicated nursing workforce with an advanced skill set in managing acute unwell patients and non-invasive ventilation. The team is led by a dedicated Medical Consultant Physician, with SHO and FY1 provision.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be one of a larger team of registrars working under an exciting leadership team. There are management development options in the establishment of this new ward structure, working closely with the clinical leadership team.

Consultant supervision will be provided on a daily basis with further leadership oversight by the clinical lead and Matron teams.

Working for our organisation

We are proud of our achievements and we are investing in our colleagues through our commitment to supporting professional development as well as investing more than £45 million in our physical environment and new equipment in the next few years. There has never been a better time to join us.

Although it isn't the Trusts normal practice, adverts may close early, so you are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible.
