This is a pivotal role in ensuring our temporary clinical staff are appropriately trained, supported, and deployed to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. Main duties of the job

As Clinical Lead, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direct line management for our clinical bank staff.

  • Ensure all temporary workers, including agency staff, are appropriately qualified, trained, and competent for their placements.

  • Work closely with the E-Rostering and Temporary Staffing Manager to implement and support Trust-wide initiatives that improve service quality and cost-effectiveness.

  • Lead on clinical orientation, education, competency programmes, and ongoing professional development for temporary staff.

  • Act as the clinical advisor for all temporary staffing processes, contributing to the development of policies, best practices, and evidence-based approaches.

  • Represent the Trust at local and regional levels, promoting high standards in temporary staffing delivery.

  • Provide assurance that agency workers deployed meet Trust requirements and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
