Team Lead Physiotherapist

AfC Band 7

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Team Lead within our Oncology team at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. You will manage the day-to-day running of the oncology physiotherapy team and wards and also manage the neuro-oncology clinic.

You must be a well-organised individual, with excellent communication skills and have extensive experience of oncology physiotherapy within the acute NHS. The post requires concise decision-making and ability to liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. Neuro-Physiotherapy experience would be desirable.

The service operates 7 days a week therefore you will be expected to be part of the weekend rota for the team.

This post is suitable for applicants who already work at Team Lead level, or experienced band 6 Physiotherapists who have a special interest in oncology and cancer care and are looking to expand their knowledge and skills. We are committed to CPD and will work with you to further your skills and experience.

Main duties of the job
