Job overview
We are searching for an Trust Doctors, experienced FY2 level to join the Royal Surrey Hospital as part of our FY2 rotation programme.
We have the following 4 month rotation available:
Gastroenterology- April -August 2026
There are the following opportunities and support measures available:
- Educational and Clinical Supervisor support
- Access to Horus e-portfolio for completion of Foundation training
for those who have not completed ARCP at Fy2 level.
- Simulation sessions
- Educational study budget of £860.00
- Study leave (12 days in total) to attend courses or have tasters in different specialities
- Self- development time (1 day a month) to support audit and career development
- Weekly curriculum linked Foundation teaching including careers workshops and interview skills for all Foundation doctors.
- Health and well-being lead to support junior doctors in training
Main duties of the job

- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- MBBS or equivalent

Experience

- Have completed F1 competencies or equivalent
- Previous experience of Surgery, Medicine at FY1 level
Skills
Essential criteria
- Sound basic clinical skills
- Medical and Surgical skills at a foundation level
