Job overview

We are a dynamic and growing organisation committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing eating disorders. With new investment fuelling our expansion, we are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for professionals passionate about eating disorder recovery. As we expand our services and enhance our treatment programs, we are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team.

 What is the Enhanced Treatment?

The intensive programme is based off a hospital at home model and is designed for adults needing extra level of support beyond their core eating disorder outpatient care. This programme allows adults to receive intensive physical and therapeutic support whilst remaining in their local community.

Main duties of the job

The job will be within our Enhanced Treatment Team (ETT) of the Adult Eating Disorder Service. The postholder will be expected to complete home visits so will need to be able to drive and have access to a car for work. Our patients will have a GP within Surrey and North East Hampshire.

As the ETT Eating Disorders Specialist Nurse your duties are to provide practical support, advice and education to adults with moderate to severe eating disorders, members of the multidisciplinary team and associated services.

The post holder will be a member of the multi-disciplinary adult eating disorders team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning and treatment of adults with eating disorders across both our whole Adult Eating Disorders Service (Enhanced Treatment Team, outpatient and daycare settings). To strengthen and actively contribute to the overall leadership of the Service. To reduce hospital admissions and assist people who are using the service to remain in the community. The postholder will be expected to work flexibly within all the identified services across Surrey and NE Hants, as need arises.
