Job overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurses to take on the role of ECT Senior Clinic Nurse within our Trustwide Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) service. Based at Farnham Road Hospital, the clinic provides essential treatment for some of the most vulnerable people accessing acute mental health services across the Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about mental health care, committed to service quality, and confident in providing strong clinical and managerial leadership.


Main duties of the job

Working closely with the ECT Clinic Manager you will provide high standard care to people prescribed this treatment before, during and after the ECT procedure to include appropriate and accurate information to the person accessing the service and to the people they identify as providing support and care to them as appropriate.

  • Significant experience working with people with mental health needs, with demonstrable experience in an inpatient setting.

  • Experience of working in an ECT Clinic

  • You will be an NMC registered RMN or RGN
