Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatient Department reception team at Horsham Hospital. You will be key to supporting our improvements as we move forward with different ways of working, for our patients requiring face to face and virtual consultation, first line investigations and on-going treatment.
The Outpatients department at Horsham is over two floors covering both medical and surgical specialities Your role will include checking patients in and out for their hospital appointments. Also cancelling, rescheduling appointments for patients. Dealing with patient enquiries over the phone and face to face. Preparation of Outpatient clinics on a daily basis. Working in a team consisting of nursing, administration and clinicians in the Outpatients Department. Liaising with Medical secretaries and Medical Record Department at East Surrey Hospital
The successful applicant will be joining a team of dedicated skilled staff, which includes Receptionists, Health Care Assistants, Nurse Associates, Staff Nurse's, Sister's, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Senior Sisters.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, hardworking, positive thinking whilst adhering to the Trust Values. The service may incorporate weekdays, evening and weekend working on a rota basis. The shift pattern will be 8-6pm two days a week.
