About us

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Ward Clerk to join the Medical division at East Surrey Hospital. The post holder will join a flexible and enthusiastic team in a forward thinking department who are committed to working as 'One Team', for the benefit of the patients.

You are invited to join multidisciplinary team working across the medical divisional wards including the Acute Medical Unit as well as our Ambulatory Service which delivers and outpatient service to patients at East Surrey Hospital.

In addition, acts as an information resource to both patients and staff on relevant issues. You will support the Sisters/Charge Nurse and Admin Manager whom leads the team.

Applications are invited from individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a commitment to the provision of a high standard of care to patients and the ability to treat all patients, relatives and other members of staff with dignity and respect.

Shifts are 11 ½ hours with a mixture of days and weekends.
