Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technician

Job overview
This is a developmental role. Full training will be given with the aim of gaining the level 3 diploma APT. Once the training is successfully completed the post-holder will move to the Band 4 payscale.
After a period of orientation and familiarisation to enroll and engage fully with the APT course to gain the qualification of Level 3 Diploma in APT. To apply skill learnt in house and eventually on the course to complete a portfolio. During this learning prepare bodies for Post Mortem and be responsible to the Senior/Chief Technician in the delivery of high-quality Post-Mortem services.
