Job overview
To assist, under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, in the delivery of basic nursing care to patients ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by patients and their carers’ while on the ward.
To lead a team of Na’s and participate in the orientation of new Band 2 Na’s.
To assist in maintaining a tidy and safe environment and assist with the management of supplies and equipment.
To maintain stock levels of consumables within budget.
To maintain a list of all ICU equipment ensuring in good state of repair and report faults accordingly.
