Job overview
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Dermatology Nurse to join our specialist Dermatology team.
The post holder will support the Clinical Nurse Specialist/Dermatology Lead Nurse in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and will deputise in their absence. The role requires strong clinical leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care.
- Lead and deliver high standards of dermatology nursing care
- Act as a clinical role model and provide leadership to junior staff
- Support coordination of care within the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in clinical audit, service improvement, and quality initiatives
- Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with Trust policies and NMC standards
