Job overview

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional and values-driven leader to join the Trust Board as our permanent Chief Finance Officer.

This is a significant Executive leadership opportunity within a large and complex acute Trust serving communities across Surrey and Sussex. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Finance Officer will provide strategic financial leadership to the organisation, ensuring strong financial stewardship, sustainable transformation and delivery of the Trust’s long-term strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will bring leadership experience within a complex environment, with a proven track record of delivering financial sustainability, transformation and organisational improvement. The role requires a collaborative and compassionate leader, able to build strong partnerships across the Trust, Integrated Care Board, NHS England Regional team and wider system partners.
