Consultant Neurologist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Consultant Neurologist to join the current team at East Surrey Hospital. This post is for 10 programmed activities per week.
Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust are seeking to appoint a full time Consultant Neurologist. The post holder will be based at East Surrey Hospital and, together with the existing consultant neurologist, will provide inpatient and outpatient services at East Surrey Hospital and outpatient services in the community hospital in Crawley/Horsham.
The Neurology Department plays a significant and increasing role in the management of acutely ill neurological patients across Surrey and Sussex and you will be expected to participate in the management of patients admitted onto acute medical wards alongside a significant outpatient service across our various locations.

Main duties of the job
To provide a Neurology service of the highest quality, ensuring that standards are maintained and developed through clinical audit, evidence-based research, job planning and appraisal. To work flexibly with colleagues to achieve the hospitals business strategy.
We are looking for applicants with a wide experience in neurological medicine that will be keen to develop a specialist interest and actively participate in clinical service development.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be committed to delivering clinical and quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with the clinical teams and commissioners.
