About us
- We’re a major local employer, with a diverse workforce of c5,000 providing healthcare services to a growing population of around 535,000.

East Surrey Hospital Physiotherapy Department is a friendly, forward thinking and innovative department with a well- established Clinical Governance programme and a focus on developing staff.
There are lots of new developments in progress within the Trust and due to expansion in Orthopaedics; we are looking for an enthusiastic band 6 physiotherapist to join the Orthopaedic team at East Surrey Hospital.
You will rotate within Orthopaedics gaining experience in working on a designated NOF unit, a trauma ward and an elective Orthopaedic ward which includes a day surgery unit and a joint school.
This post will allow you to develop a wide range of clinical, managerial, organisational, teaching and supervision skills.
You will play an active role in audits and service development.
You will be required to work a rolling shift pattern working over an extended day, covering seven days, with other qualified and non-qualified staff.
We offer a well-established supervision and appraisal structure. We encourage individual progression within the Band 6 role and have a firm commitment to in- service training and CPD as well as supporting staff to attend external courses and conferences.
