Job overview
East Surrey Hospital Physiotherapy Department is a friendly, forward thinking and innovative department with a well- established Clinical Governance program and a focus on developing staff. The Trust is rated as one of the top 100 Trusts to work for. There are lots of new developments in progress within the Trust currently and the hospital is growing both in size and reputation.
An exciting opportunity has a risen for a permanent full time Team Lead Physiotherapist with the Front Door team. We provide a week day 8am to 8pm service and a weekend service.
The post holder will work closely with the clinical specialist on the Front Door Team along with other band 7 AHP team leads within department. They will also be closely involved in service redesign and development.
The Physiotherapy department is friendly and supportive with a strong commitment to staff development, CPD and supervision. Together with team leaders in other in-patient specialities, you will support the Physiotherapy Lead and the Therapies Manager in the strategic and operational planning for the department.
We are looking for an experienced clinician with advanced specialist acute medical knowledge and experience of working in this area. Essential additional qualities include flexibility, forward thinking and a proactive approach to challenges.
