Job overview

Locum Consultant Radiologist

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust  to support the exciting development of the new Community Diagnostic Centre service at Redhill.

CDCs offer patients a wide range of imaging tests closer to home, reducing the waiting time for some examinations, the need for hospital attendance and will potentially expedite the start of treatment due to the reduction in time from 'referral to report'. The candidate would also be required to work at East Surrey hospital and Crawley CDC site

The candidate would be expected to be proficient in all aspects of diagnostic work including reporting of Plain Film, US, CT and MRI. Other subspecialty reporting skills a would be an advantage.
The Diagnostic Imaging service is part of a busy, dynamic teaching Trust with an excellent reputation in patient care, staff training/education and research and development.
