We seek an acute general Paediatrician with a special interest in Paediatric Respiratory medicine (non-Asthma), to join our busy and dynamic team at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust (East Surrey Hospital and Crawley sites). This is a new post to take on the role of Deputy Lead for the Paediatric Respiratory Services (this includes Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis, Paediatric Tuberculosis and Complex Paediatric Respiratory Care).

 

We have a well-established Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis shared care multidisciplinary service and liaise closely with the Royal Brompton Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis team.

The Paediatric Respiratory service currently has a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Paediatric Physiotherapist, Dietician and Psychologist with trust Paediatric Pharmacy support.

We also liaise closely with the Respiratory services at Royal Brompton Hospital, London and St George’s hospital, London.

For Paediatric TB we have shared links with St George’s hospital Paediatric Infectious diseases team.
