Our department, based at Wexham Park Hospital, works across a range of specialities which include: Acute & Elderly Care Medicine, A&E, Stroke, Palliative and  Orthopaedics & Surgery.

To provide excellent, high-quality person-centred clinical care that advocates for patients, strive to provide a service fit for today and the future, develop personal leadership to support clinical growth.

The post is a key part of the OT service, and is responsible for undertaking patient facing, acute rehab, equipment, housekeeping, and administrative duties.  This role has the focus on patient related work with close peer work with the equipment focused Band 3 post holder.  The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the workload of Band 2 OTAs.  It also involves liaison with outside agencies and patients’ families so excellent communication skills are essential.

The post is based at Wexham Park Hospital, but applicants need to be able to travel between Frimley Health’s hospitals and go out to patients’ homes.

In addition, we offer excellent training opportunities supported by an APH practice development lead and clinical flow lead.
