Education, Training and Business Administrator
NHS AfC : Band 4
Job overview
Are you an organised, proactive administrator with a flair for communication and a passion for supporting learning and development?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Thames Valley Workforce, Training & Education team. This varied role offers an exciting opportunity to support programmes that help develop the primary care and neighbourhood workforce across Thames Valley.
Working closely with programme leads, project managers and the Thames Valley Training Hub, you will provide high-quality administrative, communications and operational support across a range of education and workforce initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include supporting newsletters, websites and social media; coordinating meetings, training and events; maintaining databases and accurate records; responding to stakeholder enquiries; supporting CPD funding processes; producing reports and training statistics; and helping ensure programmes run smoothly from planning through to delivery.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who can confidently manage competing priorities, work independently and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable using Microsoft 365, handling data accurately and producing professional communications and documentation.
If you enjoy variety, working collaboratively and making things happen behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative, communications and operational support across the Thames Valley Workforce, Training & Education function and Thames Valley Training Hub.
Working closely with programme and project leads, you will coordinate meetings, training sessions and events; manage shared inboxes and stakeholder enquiries; maintain accurate databases and records; and support the delivery of education and workforce development programmes.
A key part of the role will be supporting communications and engagement activity, including newsletters, websites, social media, presentations and promotional materials. You will also support CPD and University Accredited Module processes, including managing queries, maintaining funding records, raising purchase orders and assisting with expenditure reporting.
You will produce training statistics and reports, maintain education and competency databases and ensure information is handled accurately and confidentially.
The role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands while working proactively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
