Job overview

We are looking for  enthusiastic and organised individuals to join our team.  The post holders will require excellent communication skills, have a very positive and flexible approach to the needs of the service, be motivated and ready for the next challenge and also enjoy working as part of a very busy team.

Knowledge of WPAS/IFIT and previous Health Records experience is desirable, however full in house training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

The Health Records Department at Morriston Hospital, Swansea currently has the following positions available: 

Position one : Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 12pm 18 hour post

Position two:  Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 5pm -9pm & Saturday & Sunday 9am - 12pm 18 hour post

There may be a requirement to participate in the health records on call service along with supporting the service across Ty Samlet/Singleton and Neath hospitals when necessary in line with working patterns

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to NVQ Level 2 or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
  • Educated to GCSE grades A-C or level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge or experience of WPAS/IFIT or similar NHS systems

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experienced of using Microsoft office suite including virtual platforms
