Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 or Band 5 with a wealth of experience looking to broaden your expert knowledge? Swansea Bay University Health Board currently has full-time vacancies for a Rotational Band 6 occupational Therapist.
The Band 6 Rotation at Swansea Bay University Health Board includes rotations in community settings, Older Persons Mental Health, Acute In patient, In patient Rehabilitation and Complex Discharge planning across the Health Board.
The posts will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to work collaboratively within an integrated multi-disciplinary team. You will provide specialist assessment, goal directed intervention and rehabilitation to patients in these settings. Timely complex discharge planning experience is essential and is an integral part of this role.
You will be required to work closely with MDT colleagues and contribute to the development of a high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy service. You will have an opportunity to help shape and promote the service, providing you with a unique opportunity to engage in service development and change.
You will need excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills and sound clinical knowledge, but enthusiasm and the potential to develop these within the post will also be valued. As such, you will be provided with variety of opportunities to develop your leadership, management and clinical skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
