We have an exciting opportunity to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team at Newcastle Hospitals. This well established  service provides specialist clinical care to adults with life limiting illness and to those approaching end of life across the acute and community settings over 7 days.

We welcome applications from those with a flexible, self-motivated and dynamic approach to individualised patient care.  In return we will provide support, education, and opportunities for professional development.  We currently have full and part time vacancies in the acute and  community settings.  All post are trust wide and there is an expectation that successful candidates will work across the service if required.

The successful applicant will have extensive post registration clinical experience; including evidence of continued professional development in palliative/end of life care. They should be able to demonstrate knowledge/skills in palliative and end of life care. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and have a confidence to educate and engage with all staff groups. They will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a team and independently across all settings.

A current driving licence is essential to this role.
