The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible all for matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Aligned to the DH Health Group Counter Fraud strategy, the NHSCFA acts as the principal lead for the NHS and wider health group in counter fraud intelligence work.

Job overview
This key role provides OD consultancy and interventions and learning & development delivery expertise across our organisation. Its part of our delivery of NHSCFA's People strategy and supporting the organisation and its teams in the delivery of their responsibilities.
To role supports the Workforce Development and Inclusion Lead and the team to implement a range of key learning and organisational development projects and support the development of a learning and inclusive culture.
Our ideal candidate will have significant demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in an organisational development/learning role and have a professional qualification in this field
The role requires regular travel to our Coventry and London and Newcastle offices. Our team meetings/events are held at our Coventry office.

Main duties of the job
In conjunction with the Workforce Development & Inclusion lead, act as operational lead and subject matter expert on learning, inclusivity and organisational development in the workplace
Working collaboratively across the People and Workforce Development team and other stakeholders using a variety of ways, to explore specific elements of the People strategy supporting the development of a learning and inclusive culture.
Develop and embed organisational development and learning initiatives, using influencing, persuasion, negotiation skills to get the required insight to support project planning and decision making and recommendations for interventions and programmes This could be in an environment where there may be significant barriers in understanding of complex process which need to be overcome using developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Providing advice and support to managers on a range of learning and development issues including skills gap analysis, learning needs analysis, leadership development, succession planning and talent and performance management
Provide organisational development consultancy and diagnostic services to design and deliver OD interventions that deliver sustainable change and support that are proportionate and pragmatic
Analyse the outcomes from internal surveys to identify opportunities where organisational development or learning can strengthen people development and engagement.
Proactively identify future learning and development requirements for departments

Essential criteria
- Significant demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in an organisational development/learning and development role
- - developing, designing, and delivering a range of creative and innovative learning and organisational development interventions to deliver improved outcomes
- - presenting to a range of audiences at all levels and with different levels of understanding and knowledge
- - designing and delivering blended management and leadership learning activities and programmes
- - developing and delivering bespoke learning and development activities and facilitation.
- - coaching and mentoring
- - learning and development needs analysis methodology and practices
- - evaluation models and methodology
- A confident presenter at team, unit & board level, able to influence at the highest level as well as presenting to a range of audiences at all levels and with different levels of understanding and knowledge
- Experienced in negotiating with providers, obtaining value for money and managing contracts
- Experienced in producing high level reports including use of complex and sensitive and contentious information to inform and influence.
- Leading and working in a project environment
- Experience of embedding ROI practices for learning and evaluation and reporting on organisational development initiatives
- Demonstrable knowledge of best practice and evidence-based approaches to learning and delivery including blended learning programmes, action learning sets, digital learning, etc
- Degree or significant demonstrable relevant experience. An appropriate professional qualification in Learning and development/ Organisational Development/Leadership

- Post-graduate level or equivalent in a relevant field Member of CIPD or other relevant professional body Project Management experience Accredited Insights practitioner
