Qualifications

Essential criteria

Registered full Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent experience
Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master’s level equivalent
Worked within a complex procurement environment with uncertainty and changing demands
Evidence of planning and delivering programmes and projects and services on time
Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems
A broad understanding of the NHS, wider public procurement and have worked in a commercial environment

Desirable criteria

Project Management (Prince 2 Practitioner) or similar
Experience in mapping commercial processes structuring workstreams, and pinpointing opportunities
