Probationary Period
All new staff to the Trust will be subject to a standard 6 month probationary period, the details of which will duly follow in your contract of employment.

Agile and Flexible Working
All our staff will have a work base. However the Trust operates as an Agile Working Team therefore staff may be working from home on a regular basis as required by the service. However, occasionally travel around Warwickshire and into your base will be required so access to your own transport would be helpful.
The Trust also welcome staff to work flexibly and we would welcome the conversation at interview regarding flexible working.

Job overview
This post offers an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Consultant to join an expanding, progressive and forward-thinking team of Respiratory clinicians, who provide a number of quality services to respiratory patients across South Warwickshire.
We are looking for a committed and passionate colleague to support and develop our Respiratory service at Warwick Hospital. The job is offered on a 10 PA contract and will be a mixture of ward-based Physician of the week, and clinic weeks.
Main duties of the job
The main elements of the post will be:
- To support the inpatient service in Respiratory Medicine.
- The Consultant will have 10 sessions per week to support the Respiratory Physician of the Week and the Respiratory Registrars to manage all the inpatient workload, including referrals and procedures, working approx. 1 in 4 weeks.
- The Consultant will have scheduled bronchoscopy sessions on a rota basis, approximately 1 in 4 weeks. Additionally, there will be occasional emergency bronchoscopy sessions and EBUS sessions once this service commences.
- Outpatient clinics will be scheduled throughout the week.
