Job overview

The FTSU and Safeguarding Team Administrator will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to both the Freedom to Speak Up and Safeguarding teams, ensuring the effective delivery of activities and functions aligned to the Trust’s commitment to promoting a speaking up culture and safeguarding best practice.

The post holder will support the day-to-day operations of the teams, contributing to the delivery of services that uphold staff wellbeing, psychological safety, and the protection of patients and colleagues across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

•    Taking and preparing accurate and comprehensive minutes for any meetings (some highly sensitive meetings) as required.
•    Dealing with contentious and sensitive material arising for Trust wide meetings.
•    Responsible for coordinating social media, involving the Trust Comms Team.
•    Coordinate with teams internally and externally to ensure Teams C, inductions, University Workshops booking are in place. 
•    Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally (EG: local authorities and safeguarding sub groups of AACE)
•    Work autonomously to manage team spreadsheets.
•    Complete the Trust’s mandatory training requirements identified for the role.
•    Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across the Trust, helping to foster best practice in the delivery of patient care.
•    Providing administration support for the Trusts required Safeguarding training

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The FTSU and Safeguarding Team Administrator will be expected to produce reports to support the analysis of data from the FTSU and Safeguarding dashboards. This will assist the team’s in ensuring accurate and update data is delivered to local teams to support leaders in creating a safe speaking up environment. There will be a requirement to support various workstreams within the organisation.

The FTSU and Safeguarding Team Administrator will also maintain strong links with our partners and external stakeholders to support effective continuous improvement, and a culture of shared learning

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • • Five GSCEs (grade C or above) or equivalent, including English Language
  • a minimum of five years’ experience working within a customer service environment
Desirable criteria
  • • Good knowledge of the health care sector

  • • Proven experience of working in a busy patient / customer-focused environment and an excellent understanding of and belief in the principles of customer care.
