Working for our organisation
Our award winning hospital is positioned at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales affording the opportunity to live and work in a stunning part of the country with good schools and easy access to the larger towns of Bradford, Harrogate and the City of Leeds. The hospital covers a large geographical area between Yorkshire Dales and Bradford. As a department we have a programme of social events and many outdoor activities to appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounding outdoors.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- MBBS or equivalent
- Full registration with General Medical Council
Desirable criteria
- FRCA or equivalent
- ATLS / ALS / APLS / PALS provider
- FFICM/EDIC or equivalent
- Teaching or management qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Over three years of working in anaesthesia or critical care as a specialty doctor or in training
- Airway skills necessary for critical care practice
- Six months experience of critical care
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience
- Paediatric anaesthesia
- Obstetric anaesthesia experience
- Management and leadership experience
Skills
Essential criteria
- Experience of teaching and supervision of medical students, junior residents
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of clear/lucid written skills
Desirable criteria
- IT skills
- Experience of cardiopulmonary exercise testing
