We are looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking People Partner to join our team. Main duties of the job
Strategic Partnerships: Build professional and effective working partnerships, to drive a culture of empowerment and accountability with senior leaders and managers, providing challenge and guidance, to effect strategic change in line with St Anne’s values and behaviours.
Business Acumen: Understand the needs and challenges of assigned business areas by working in partnership with leadership teams. Undertaking effective horizon scanning contribute to the development of strategic workforce solutions which deliver key performance indicators, meet future organisational needs and operating priorities.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Employee Relations: Maintain and promote positive employee relations through the provision of high quality, specialist advice, guidance, engagement and co-operation in relation to People issues, the development of policies and procedures, and terms and conditions. Lead on sensitive / complex ER cases, as appropriate.
Challenging Moments: Coach and advise managers to develop creative and pragmatic solutions on the full range of complex employment issues, including engaging and consulting with the trade unions, advising on risks, benefits, and options to achieve organisational outcomes and influence decision making where appropriate.
Performance Management: Acting as an effective coach, guide, and mentor to managers to grow their capability and confidence and enable them to deal effectively with people performance issues to improve business performance and for the benefit of our client experience.
Data Analysis and Systems: Leverage key business data, systems, and people analytics to provide critical business insight, challenge and recommendations that drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
Organisational Development: Working with colleagues across the People Team, share insights to ensure that the Service is aware of and delivers colleague needs, including identifying and supporting learning and development requirements; performance improvement; talent planning and other Organisational Development initiatives.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Relevant qualification in a people related discipline, or significant proven experience in HR
- Driver and access to own vehicle
- Up to date knowledge of employment law, including organisational change and TUPE
Desirable criteria
- An understanding of current issues/developments within the care and not-for-profit sector and the impact that this context can have on people practices for St Anne’s.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
