Security Clearance

To meet National Security Vetting requirements, SC clearances require 5 years continuous UK residency. In certain cases, this can be reduced to three years continuous UK residency, with additional overseas checks for the previous two years.

Candidates who were posted abroad for service with HM Government, Armed Forces or within a UK government role - will still be considered.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria

Administrator level Azure Cloud Certification

Skills

Essential criteria

Strong technical knowledge of enterprise scale IT services, with a focus on Azure
Understanding of cloud governance, policy and guardrails and how they are implemented at the enterprise level
Recent experience in implementing cloud best practice controls via automation, including automated vending of environments
Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload and effectively manage conflicting demands and expectations

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria

Hands-on experience working with Azure Landing Zones and Policies
An understanding of Infrastructure services and networking within a mixed on-premises and cloud environment
Demonstrable experience of automation and scripting with Terraform
An understanding of Git, working with repositories and collaborating with DevOps teams
