AGH Solutions is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. We are proud of our NHS heritage, and proud to be supporting Airedale’s clinical services.

We provide a wide range of services from traditional facilities management and estate maintenance, to sterile services, wheelchair engineering and procurement, to clients both within and beyond the NHS.

Job overview

The Procurement Department at Airedale General Hospital is part of AGH Solutions LTD, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

The Procurement team provides services to both Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. The team pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and supporting frontline patient care across all clinical departments.

We are looking for an individual to support the management of clinical consumables in a busy hospital that provides essential medical care for a population of 200,000 people.

We are looking for an individual who is a confident communicator, both face to face and over email/telephone. Excellent customer service skills are essential. We are looking for someone who can prioritise essential tasks and understands the principles behind Just In Time ordering and Materials Management. Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be ordering of goods for the Trust, in particular for clinical areas, which would involve visiting the ward areas and counting stock as well as managing inventory systems and supporting waste reduction through improving stock management efficiencies.

AGH Solutions is committed to allowing its employees to work dynamically with a combination of working on site and remotely, where possible.

This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.

If you currently hold a different type of visa allowing you to work in the UK we would welcome an application from you. If your visa expires or there is a change in status during your employment, the Trust will be required to review your employment which may result in the termination of your employment to comply with the relevant immigration legislation.
