Job overview
We are looking for a dynamic People Leader to lead our Recruitment and Health & Wellbeing functions across Remote Patient Care (RPC).
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Recruitment and Health & Wellbeing functions, ensuring our workforce feels supported, engaged and equipped to deliver outstanding patient care.
You will play a key role in shaping workforce experience, promoting staff wellbeing, strengthening recruitment and retention, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture across EOC and IUC services. Working closely with operational leaders and corporate colleagues, you will help ensure our people remain at the heart of everything we do
Main duties of the job
- Lead and support the Recruitment and Health & Wellbeing teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, people-focused services across RPC.
- Develop and implement initiatives that improve staff wellbeing, engagement, retention and workforce experience.
- Provide leadership and expert support in managing complex people issues, including wellbeing concerns, attendance management and workforce challenges.
- Work closely with operational, HR and corporate colleagues to develop workforce solutions that support service delivery and organisational priorities.
- Lead workforce planning and recruitment activity, ensuring services are appropriately resourced and recruitment processes are effective and compliant.
- Monitor and evaluate key people metrics, using data and insight to identify trends, drive improvement and support decision-making.
- Champion a positive, inclusive culture that promotes wellbeing, equality, staff engagement and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all activity is delivered in line with Trust values, policies, governance requirements and NHS best practice.
