Job overview

“Please note: we are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.”

Join a team that keeps vital health services running. As an Estates Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Estates Officer to deliver high-quality estates services across the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. Working as part of a committed and skilled team, you’ll help maintain and repair essential building services and equipment that keep our hospitals safe, efficient, and fully operational.

In this hands-on role, you will install, maintain, and service a wide range of equipment, ensuring all work meets Trust standards and contributes to a reliable and responsive estates service. You’ll carry out general maintenance and repairs to Trust property and assets, tackling both planned tasks and reactive jobs with professionalism and care.

You will complete work allocated on dockets and update the Trust CAFM system promptly, helping us maintain accurate records and smooth workflows. With the ability to organise and coordinate your own workload, you’ll take ownership of tasks, manage priorities effectively, and work confidently both independently and as part of the wider Estates team.

A crucial part of the role is the ability to identify required parts or equipment and use the Estates Stores system to obtain items in line with Trust Standing Financial Instructions. If you’re motivated, practical, and ready to support an essential service, this could be your next career step.
