Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Salisbury Fertility Centre to help us deliver the smooth running of our fertility clinics. 

The successful candidate will work closely alongside our nursing and consultant team to undertake funding checks for our patients, they will undertake and record clinical observations and chaperone.

Please note: we are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to undertake bookings for appointments and deal with enquiries and queries in person and by phone, liaising with the nursing team as needed.

Undertake and record clinical observations and report abnormal findings to the appropriate staff.

As well as this, they will order stock, prepare notes, and replenish equipment.

Essential criteria
  • A minimum of grade C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a job role where you have had to deal with customers in some capacity
  • Good listening skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Analytical and judgement skills
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a clinic setting including consultant run clinics, early pregnancy and acute gynaecology.
  • Understand the chaperone policy and can be a patient advocate if required
  • Have a basic understanding of Fertility pathology
  • Skilled in the use of patient record systems and be able to generate letters.
