Job overview

The post holder will be responsible for the assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, undertaking variance analysis and trend analysis as appropriate and assisting with financial forecasts in conjunction with operational team, as well as responding to finance queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The post holder reports to the Divisional Finance Manager and is responsible for assisting the Finance Business Partner and Divisional Finance Manager with the production of Monthly Management Accounts, Financial Forecasting, invoice raising and liaison with internal and external parties to obtain accurate information to help inform the financial position of the Division.

The post holder will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts, as well as budgets during the budget setting process. 

The post holder will deputise for the Divisional Finance Manager as required.

The Trust may ask you to undertake other duties, as required, which are not necessarily specified in the job description but which are commensurate with the grade of the post.

Academic Qualification

Essential criteria
  • 5 GCSE passes including Maths and English or NVQ equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • AAT Studying or Qualification
  • Basic knowledge of computer finance systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Relevant Experience

  • Experience in Information Management and Microsoft Applications
