Job overview

The ideal candidate will have  excellent communication and customer service skills, as the role requires them to interface with the public.

Hold a current NPLQ qualification or be willing to achieve within the first 3 months of employment - and pass a pre requisite swim test at interview

The post holder will work a shift pattern with a friendly and vibrant team. 

Mon-Fri shift pattern 06:45-14:00 or 14:00-21:00 Sat & Sun shift pattern 09:45-17:00

This is a busy and varied role, you will be required to work pool team, long side the admin and gym team.    

Main duties of the job

  • Run a friendly and informative reception - carrying out a range of admin duties
  • Safeguarding customers and patients using Odstock Health & Fitness swimming pools to ensure a safe and well maintained swimming facility.
  • Assist with the promotion and marketing  of membership and services.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the swimming pools, fitness facilities and changing areas.
