Are you an experienced Pharmacy Support Worker with a passion for patient safety we are seeking a meticulous and dedicated non-registrant Final Accuracy Checker (FAC) to join our busy pharmacy team? In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of dispensing accuracy, directly impacting patient care every day.

Full training will be given, and the successful candidate will be required to undertake a nationally recognised Final Accuracy Checking Program.

Our friendly, well established, hard working team in the inpatient dispensary is excited to offer this new opportunity to a like minded enthusiastic, flexible, individual to take on this role.

This position is open to candidates from community or hospital background. GPhC registered pharmacy technician's may also apply.

Main duties of the job

To undertake final accuracy checking and a range of other technical pharmaceutical activities in the dispensary, including the preparation, dispensing and issuing of medicines (including clinical trial products and CDs) in response to prescriptions or requisitions, in line with local standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the supervision of the Senior Technician or Chief Technician support services.
