Working across a diverse healthcare organisation of more than 1,400 colleagues, you will play a key role in developing leadership capability, strengthening organisational culture, improving colleague wellbeing and creating meaningful opportunities for learning, development and career progression.

As Learning, Organisational Development & Wellbeing Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of HUC's approach to organisational development, leadership development, workforce capability and colleague wellbeing.
Working in partnership with the Head of People, Executive Team and senior leaders, you will design and implement programmes that strengthen leadership, support organisational change, embed our values and enhance workforce performance.
You will oversee learning and development, organisational development, engagement and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring that colleagues have the skills, support and opportunities needed to succeed. You will also use workforce insight, staff feedback and organisational data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop evidence-based solutions that drive meaningful change.
Leading a dedicated team of specialists, you will help shape the future of workforce development at HUC, ensuring we continue to attract, develop and retain talented people whilst maintaining a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.

Skills, experience, qualifications

- Educated to Masters level with a relevant qualification of equivalent level of knowledge and experience at senior leadership level
- Evidence of leadership development and proven ability to perform at this level Extensive knowledge and expertise across a number of subject areas within the OD, Leadership and Culture
- Ability to utilise evidence-based research to inform initiatives and decision making. Considerable experience of development and applying workforce and OD Leadership & Culture strategies and interventions in large complex organisations. Proven experience of successful achievement of leading change across services.
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to give high level presentations to Board level and on behalf of the organisation to other organisations.
