Are you an experienced HR or People professional looking for the next step in your career?

We are looking for an Associate Culture & People Business Partner to join our People Team at HUC. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with operational and clinical leaders across a diverse healthcare organisation, providing practical, values-led people support that helps teams and services thrive.

As part of our newly developed People function, you will play a key role in supporting managers with employee relations matters, workforce challenges and day-to-day people management. Working alongside experienced Culture & People Business Partners, you will develop your business partnering skills whilst making a real difference to colleagues, leaders and the patients we serve.

This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of People activities, including employee relations, workforce compliance, organisational change, leadership support and workforce improvement initiatives. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and helping managers navigate complex people issues with confidence.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

As an Associate Culture & People Business Partner, you will be the first point of contact for managers within your allocated service areas, providing practical advice and support on a wide range of people matters.

You will lead on day-to-day employee relations activity, supporting managers with absence management, performance, conduct, grievances, capability and other workforce matters. You will help ensure cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with organisational policies, employment legislation and best practice.

Working closely with Culture & People Business Partners, People Operations and Learning, Organisational Development & Wellbeing colleagues, you will help deliver a joined-up and responsive People service. You will also support workforce compliance activity, helping services maintain standards relating to professional registration, DBS, Right to Work and statutory and mandatory training.

Alongside operational casework, you will contribute to workforce improvement initiatives, organisational change activity and the embedding of positive people management practices across HUC.
