We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the Wrexham Acute Paediatrics Department Reception. This is a full time, permanent post which covers a range of administrative tasks to aid the continuity of an extremely busy service to our patients/carers and other professional colleagues. Previous reception and customer service experience is essential. You will also have knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel. The ability to prioritise your work and be highly organised is paramount to this post, as is excellent interpersonal skills, which includes a friendly telephone manner, whilst providing a professional, sensitive manner and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a professional and efficient reception service within the Children's Outpatient area, ensuring that all patients and visitors are welcomed to the department in an appropriate manner. By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other service users, using the telephone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.

- Welsh speaking - minimum level 3 required

- Previous Customer Service/Receptionist experience

- Experience in all office procedures within an NHS environment
- Knowledge of WPAS
