Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) School In-Reach (SIR) Service, working primarily with the East CAMH SIR team and collaboratively with SIR teams across the region. The service is committed to promoting mental health and emotional well-being in children and young people.
This role provides high-level personal assistant and secretarial support to senior management, including the Clinical Service Manager, Senior Mental Health Practitioners, and Business Operational Officers.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver a high-quality, efficient, and confidential administrative and personal assistant service.
- Serve as a central point of contact for senior management colleagues.
- Independently manage and prioritise a diverse range of tasks using sound judgement, secretarial expertise, and advanced IT skills to meet evolving service and organisational needs.
- Coordinate meetings, support conference and event arrangements, and take accurate notes and minutes.
- Assist with confidential HR-related tasks including job planning, supervision, recruitment processes, staff training records, and monthly report collation.
- Ensure the timely and professional completion of all relevant documentation.
- Contribute to service marketing and networking efforts, including the development of newsletters, promotional materials, and monitoring of social media platforms.
- The role involves remote working, with travel between service bases as necessary, and requires effective communication with colleagues across BCUHB, as well as with representatives from local authorities and education school communities.
- Welsh language skills are desirable and would be considered advantageous
