Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • MB ChB or equivalent qualification
  • Completed Foundation year 2 training or equivalent and having achieved relevant competencies
  • GMC full registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCOG part 1
  • At least six months O+G experience
Desirable criteria
  • Other relevant postgraduate qualifications
  • At least six months NHS experience.
  • GCP training

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Competence in managing general emergencies in medicine and surgical specialties.
  • Basic life support training
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Clinical audit/Quality Improvement activity

  • PROMPT
