Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant on Eye Department East Wrexham.
The Eye Department opens Monday to Friday only (excluding bank holidays).
Main duties of the job
The Eye Department opens Monday to Friday only (excluding bank holidays).
All applicants must have Health Care Assistant experience and additional training and mentorship into Ophthalmology Nursing will be provided in house by the Ophthalmology registered nurses. Following induction and training, the Band 3 Health Care Assistant will be expected to work within the Eye theatre, general clinic and Day Unit, following the e-rostering allocation for Deeside and Wrexham
Post – 34 hours per week
Applicants will also be required in time to attend the ODTC community hospital and other primary care setting to support ophthalmology nurse led clinics for assessment of Ophthalmology patients in primary care.
