Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Respiratory Specialist Nursing Team within Wrexham Maelor Hospital . The post holder will be required to provide an accurate, confidential and supportive secretarial service to the department, processing patient letters, communicating with patients and other members of staff to maintain safe patient pathways.
The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial administrative service as part of a team, providing cross cover during periods of staff absence and managing/prioritising workload to ensure the provision of all secretarial and administrative duties to support the Consultant/Clinical team.
Excellent written and communication skills, together with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines are essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
An accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) in order to: Provide a safe and efficient patient pathway and provide information and appropriate support to families and carers.
