Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed
Job overview
To provide professional and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Occupational Therapy – East.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The main duties will involve arranging meetings/managing the diary, typing minutes of meetings, typing letters/reports and inputting staff data.
You will need to be flexible, reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality.
By the nature of the duties, the post-holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives, medical staff and other colleagues, using the telephone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.

- Good general education
- NVQ 3 or equivalent experience in a similar role
- ECDL or equivalent IT knowledge

- RSA/OCR Level 3 or equivalent in Word Processing
- NVQ in relevant subject
