Join our dynamic Digital Department as a key member of the Digital Training Team, where you’ll help staff across the organisation develop essential digital skills. The team delivers a wide range of training, from basic IT to advanced clinical systems, ensuring colleagues are confident and capable in using the digital tools that underpin our services. This role is based at Sirona headquarters, though offers a hybrid working arrangement. You’ll enjoy a supportive environment, working alongside experienced digital professionals committed to driving transformation and excellence in healthcare through technology.

Main duties of the job

  • Using own initiative and judgement to prioritise a variety of departmental work and procedures as required by 
    the Digital Training Manager, including setting/noting deadlines, drafting letters, collating data and minute taking.
  • Support the Digital Training Team with organising and administering a range of training sessions, working 
    independently to set procedures as defined in the team’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Including training the 
    team on administrative duties and procedures.
  • Be the first point of contact for staff accessing Digital Training Programmes and act as a central point of contact for
    all other Digital Training enquiries and requests (via Digital Training mailbox or Microsoft Teams) being always
    tactful, on occasion dealing with challenging requests and negotiate best outcomes for all parties concerned.
  • Choose the appropriate training method per case depending on individual and service needs.
  • Create, maintain, and continue to develop events and courses on LMS system used by Sirona including adding users 
    to events and marking attendance. Collating the information monthly.
  • Work closely with the other Digital Departments and Sirona’s Clinical/Corporate Services to ensure the smooth running of Digital Training services.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge Required

Essential criteria
  • Collating and producing complex and sensitive data/information in a reader friendly way.
  • A range of administrative processes these include typing emails and training invitations, minute taking, data management/analysis related to course attendance/feedback.
  • Diary management and organising meetings/events.
  • Range of IT skills including advanced typing skills, data entry, managing emails, typing minutes of meetings and produce reports. Text processing, manage and update spreadsheets and databases.
  • Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence working with ticketing systems (Halo, Cherwell) and triaging queries from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms including creating events, editing courses, auditing attendance, and tailoring comms.
Desirable criteria
  • Understanding of induction/onboarding processes within the NHS or similar large-scale organisation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining administrative processes for Digital Training or Clinical System Onboarding.
  • Familiarity with automation and process improvement tools to streamline workflows (e.g. Excel templates, shared document management systems).

Qualifications and Training Required

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in Operations, Business Administration, or Digital Training Coordination.
  • Significant practical experience in a wide range of relevant administrative procedures, preferably supported by an NVQ3 in administration or equivalent training.
  • Numeracy and Literacy level 2 qualification or equivalent demonstrable skills.
  • Evidence of undertaking personal and professional development.

Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of training in a range of computer packages.
