Job overview
Applicants are invited to join our Administration Team supporting The Podiatry and Foot Health Service, on a bank contract. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of administrative support to ensure effective referral pathway and appointment procedures for our patients and provide assistance to the Podiatry clinical teams.
You must possess excellent administrative and time management skills, be highly computer literate and be able to deal with complex information, complaints and at times, contentious telephone calls from patients. Previous experience of working within the NHS and use of RIO electronic patients record, Summary Care Record & Oracle would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for receiving a high volume of telephone calls, to arrange and reschedule patient appointments, processing new referrals and producing the relevant paperwork for clinical staff, providing support to the clinical team answering general IT and RIO-related queries as necessary, to distribute and place stock orders for clinic locations across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.
