PCN Project Manager

Job overview
Feltham and Bedfont PCN (FAB) are looking for a PCN Project Manager for a 12 month maternity leave on a fixed term or secondment basis, to deliver on a wide range of business, data submission, transformation and improvement initiatives across the PCN.
The postholder will be instrumental in progressing the PCN’s development plan. This role will work with member practices to break down challenges to implementation across the patient population.
Main duties of the job
Work as part of a team to provide day-to-day management support to the PCN Clinical Director and PCN.
Work closely with PCN Clinical Directors, Senior PCN Development Manager and practices to support network implementation of any service change, contract, pathways, and quality improvement whilst acting as the point of contact for member practices.
Have direct responsibility for a number of projects, for the full lifecycle from initiation to project closure, taking a lead role in high priority projects.

Essential criteria
- Significant knowledge and experience of project management and service development, delivering projects in a multi-agency or complex environment
Desirable criteria
- Degree level or Higher Education equivalent qualifications or Project Management qualification.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable experience in project management to include planning, implementing, and managing projects across multiple organisations or teams
- Demonstrable experience of effectively engaging with key stakeholders, such as clinical staff
- Demonstrable experience of writing and / or monitoring delivery of business plans
- Demonstrable experience of producing accurate plans and performance reports which inform and influence target audience
- Experience of working autonomously on a pre-determined piece of work
Desirable criteria
- Experience of operating in a politically sensitive environment
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Excellent project management skills
- Able to support or manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adopts a systematic approach to problem solving using varied sources of information

- Numerical and financial management skills; understanding of budget management or cost improvement programmes.
- An understanding of the bodies in the wider Health system such as ICBs, ICSs, NHSE, CQC, etc
