Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the Renal 3Ps Transformation Programme at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This pivotal role will drive delivery across a series of clinically led workstreams spanning the entire adult renal pathway — from prevention and early chronic kidney disease management through to advanced kidney care, dialysis, transplantation and personalised end‑of‑life planning.
Working within the Renal & Transplant Directorate and in close partnership with the North West London Integrated Care Board, you will play a key role in coordinating programme governance, evaluating outcomes, enabling service redesign and ensuring the Trust delivers measurable improvements in outcomes, experience and system integration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transformation professional to lead a high‑profile, multi‑agency programme with significant impact for patients across North West London.
Main duties of the job
- Provide end‑to‑end project management for the Renal 3Ps programme, including initiation, mobilisation, delivery, evaluation and sustainability planning across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Develop, maintain and assure robust project documentation in line with Trust and ICB standards, including delivery plans, milestones, risk and issue logs, dependency maps and benefits realisation plans.
- Work in partnership with clinical, nursing and operational leads to support the design, implementation and embedding of new models of care across the renal pathway, from prevention and early CKD management through to advanced kidney care, dialysis, transplantation and personalised care planning.
- Translate MoU funding schedules into clear financial and workforce delivery plans, ensuring appropriate tracking, forecasting and reporting of pay and non‑pay expenditure in line with Trust financial controls.
- Coordinate evaluation activity across all 3Ps workstreams, ensuring that each project produces robust evidence of impact in line with 3Ps principles and ICB requirements.
- Act always in accordance with Trust values and behaviours: Kind, Collaborative, Expert and Aspirational.
