Data & Business Analyst
This is a new, challenging and exciting Data & Business Analyst role within Londonwide Local Medical Committees, the membership organisation representing over 7,000 constituent NHS general practitioners and 1,000 practice teams in London. Londonwide LMCs provides pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its Local Medical Committees (LMCs) and members. We support GPs, their teams, practices and PCNs so that they are able to work in the best interests of their patients and local communities.
The Data & Business Analyst role will be part of the Business Resources team, supporting the Database and Membership Manager in maintaining the company’s database and producing reports and analysis of the data and intelligence available so that it can be used to support decision-making, strategy development and organisational effectiveness.
This new role is for a fixed term (until 31 March 2027) initially, based at our offices in Euston, and you will need to be able to come to the office if required, but flexible options, including regular homeworking, are supported.
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
· Direct experience of providing data and business analysis in a healthcare, legal, business or regulatory environment.
· Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrable experience of planning and delivering data and business analysis dashboards and reports utilising a variety of data sources.
· The knowledge and ability to use tools such as statistical analysis and data visualisation, including Power BI, Power Automate and Excel.
· High attention to detail, with experience in cleansing and validating data sets.
· Strong, proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify problems and work with colleagues to implement solutions.
· Experience of working across teams in a complex and demanding role, requiring good time management and prioritisation of workload.
· Experience of providing support to internal users in understanding the data set, the analysis and the use of dashboards/reports.
· A good understanding of data protection and information governance legislation and guidance relating to the use of data.
· A clear understanding of the ethical and confidentiality considerations when using data.
Londonwide LMCs holds the Investors in People Silver award. The package includes five weeks’ annual leave (25 days pro rata), flexi working options and an employer pension contribution of 16% of salary.
