Outreach Clinical Nurse Specialist

Band 6

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Our friendly and supportive team at the Sexual Health Garden Clinic is looking for an Outreach Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our growing service.

We are a busy level 3 sexual health service based in Slough, with satellite clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, and Bracknell. We operate Monday to Friday, with the requirement to work one Saturday every 4 to 6 weeks.

Given the sensitive nature of this role, we are seeking individuals who are openminded, nonjudgemental, and able to work within a highly confidential environment. Previous experience in contraception or sexual health within a GUM setting is essential.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will have access to excellent training opportunities, including the potential to undertake nonmedical prescriber training.

You will be required to work across the East Berkshire outreach areas, and travel to work at the locality clinics. It is desirable that you be a car driver with the use of car for work purpose. You will be supporting a wide range of cases – from testing and treating sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, to providing contraception. This role offers fantastic scope to develop and enhance your clinical skills.

Alongside this rewarding work, you will also have access to outstanding wellbeing resources. As a Trust, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where staff feel valued, supported, and able to fulfil their potential.
